NATIONAL AMUSEMENTS COMPLETES ACQUISITION OF RITZ 16 THEATER IN VOORHEES, NEW JERSEY

Dedham, MA —April 30, 2007--- National Amusements, Inc., a world leader in the motion picture exhibition industry operating more than 1,500 screens in the U.S., U.K., Latin America and Russia, today announced the completion of their purchase of the Ritz 16 Theater business, building and property in Voorhees, New Jersey from Posel Voorhees, L.L.C of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. National Amusements ownership of the property was effective April 26, 2007. The theater will be renamed the Showcase at the Ritz Center. The theater employs 50 staff members; all existing employees who wish to stay will be offered opportunities at the theater.

“National Amusements is eagerly looking forward to serving the patrons of the Ritz 16,” said Shari Redstone, president, National Amusements. “We recognize that this is a very special theater with a very special audience and believe that they will find their theater experience will continue to be exceptional and meet their needs, with some great new experiences and programming as well. Our goal is to make our theaters a community entertainment destination for everyone to enjoy.”

National Amusements will continue to offer a mix of independent and mainstream programming, a standard for their theaters, along with superior customer service for which their company is highly praised. At the present time the company intends to continue the Ritz Filmbill, and Talk Cinema, and the favored Toblerone chocolates. Moviegoers can also expect to see some additional and enhanced concession offerings.

The company will also be including programming that has been well received at their other theaters including Silver Screen classics, highly attended by mature audiences allowing them to enjoy classic films; and Bookworm Wednesdays, a summer reading program which encourages children to read and entitles them, when they turn in a book report, to free admission to the weekly film. Patrons will also be able to attend Holiday Classics, a five-week program offering moviegoers free admission to a classic holiday film with a donation at the box office of a non-perishable food item to benefit local food banks.

Whether it is a grandmother enjoying Silver Screen classics, a busy professional escaping from the pressures of work, or a young child experiencing their first movie, it is our role as an exhibitor to provide this opportunity and ensure everyone’s enjoyment. Our staff are trained and prepared to ensure that the quality of experience which our patrons are used to is continued and enhanced to meet their highest expectations.”

Patrons can expect a pricing structure similar to that of the previous operators with the addition of children’s pricing. Policy changes effective Friday, May 4th include unaccompanied children under six are not admitted, no children under six are admitted to shows starting at 8:00 p.m. or later. Unaccompanied children six to eleven are allowed to all shows starting prior to 8:00 p.m., and for all shows starting at 8:00 p.m. or later they must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Persons twelve and older are admitted at all times. MPAA ratings guidelines will apply at all times. Theater personnel will be on hand to ensure that appropriate audience decorum is maintained at all times.
