Boston’s Best Comics to appear live, on stage, in Massachusetts/Connecticut movie theaters beginning May 15th

DEDHAM, Mass., – May 7, 2008––National Amusements, Inc., a world leader in the motion picture exhibition industry operating more than 1,500 screens in the U.S., U.K., Latin America and Russia, today announced a new live, stand-up comedy program called “Stand-up Showcase”. “Stand-up Showcase” features Boston’s best comics rotating through three Massachusetts theatre locations and one Connecticut theatre location every Thursday evening at 8 PM beginning on May 15th. Admission for the performances is $14. (Note: Persons under 21 years old are not admitted.)

Participating theaters include National Amusements Showcase Cinemas, Randolph, MA; Showcase Cinemas, Woburn, MA; Blackstone Valley 14: Cinema De Lux, Millbury, MA and Showcase Cinemas Buckland Hills, CT (Hartford area). Tickets can be purchased in advance online at nationalamusements.com or by visiting the box office at individual theaters.

National Amusements is transforming the movie-going experience by developing and introducing exciting alternative entertainment experiences like “Stand-up Showcase”.
