Boston-based band members to host pre-show introduction of the new DVD and attend a private “Meet and Greet” after the screening for loyal fans who purchase the DVD on- site

The band members will host the pre-show introduction of the new DVD and attend a private “Meet and Greet” after the screening for loyal fans who purchase the DVD on-site.
The event takes place Sunday, November 2, 2008 at 6:00pm at National Amusements newest luxury theatre, Showcase Cinema de Lux Patriot Place. General admission tickets for the show are $15.00 and can be purchased in advance online at nationalamusements.com, at the theater box office, or by calling the theatre at 800-315-4000. Customers who purchase their tickets online can also take advantage of the print at-home ticketing option.
Boys Like Girls' self-titled debut album has been certified gold by the RIAA with the album's singles "The Great Escape" and "Hero/Heroine" achieving platinum and gold status, respectively. And now, Columbia Records will release read between the lines, the appropriately titled first-ever DVD from the Boston-based rock-pop quartet, on Tuesday, November 4. read between the lines is a 100-plus minute DVD centering around 45 minutes of concert performances featuring 10 songs recorded live during the Soundtrack of Your Summer Tour. The DVD release traces the band's career from their early days of eating Ramen Noodles and sleeping on each other's floors, to headlining their hometown arena just a few short years later. Combining historic band footage, candid interviews with Martin, Bryan, Paul and John, and live footage shot throughout this summer's Soundtrack Of Your Summer tour, read between the lines is a dream come true for fans, who can relive the excitement of the band's live performances, access exclusive behind-the-scenes interviews and backstage footage, and experience personalized accounts of Boys Like Girls' rise to fame. A comprehensive photo gallery is also included. Since its release in 2006, Boys Like Girls has sold more than 600,000 albums in the United States alone and been certified gold by the RIAA.
